It’s a realistic perspective of rising above circumstances to become the person you want to be versus the person the universe had planned. The Self-Study Guide at the end of the book effectively uses the scenarios from Barbara’s life to encourage the reader to examine his/her own life and continue to seek opportunities to reach their potential.
